Return Policy
April 27, 2007
The customer must notify us within 2 days of receipt of merchandise that they wish to return the merchandise. The customer is responsible for a 5% restocking fee, all shipping costs, and any duty or tariff charges. Merchandise must be returned in the exact same condition as it was delivered. Any merchandise shipped from any of our stores must be returned within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. Items shipped via freight carrier or similar must be returned within 30 days. We take responsibility for pursuing insurance claims on merchandise lost or damaged in shipping. There are some items that we cannot allow returns on, and these items will be marked accordingly with the words, “No Return Policy” clearly stated in the item description.
We work very hard to ensure customer satisfaction, and are happy to state that merchandise returns are a very rare phenomenon for us. We also do our best to clearly photograph and accurately describe each item so nothing is misrepresented. We want you to feel comfortable doing business with us. If you have any questions about our merchandise, please contact us by telephone or through the website, and we will be happy to provide the information you need.
There is a misconception that companies benefit from returns and restocking charges. To clarify this matter, we want you, the consumer, to be aware of the fact that we do not profit from returns. In fact, if an item is returned, it usually costs us money. We are charged up to 4% of the total purchase amount in transaction fees when a credit card purchase is refunded for a returned item. Also, it takes us considerable time to inspect, repackage, and then re-catalogue an item into inventory. Some of our merchandise is even stored remotely, and has to be transported back to the warehouse. So please take notice that most if not all of these charges are to help cover the costs for reprocessing, repackaging, and restocking.
